A reminder to parents. Youth between the ages of 10 and 16 MUST have completed the snowmobile safety certification course before they can legally operate a snowmobile anywhere except on their own property. There is a listing of safety classes in the Keystone Snowmobiler, in addition to the PSSA website.  If you have children in this age group get them to a class. You will notice many of the class listing have a maximum number of students they will take in their class, so call now to be sure you have place in the class you want to attend. Once the class is full it will be too late. When the first snowflake falls may be too late to get into a class. Also keep in mind the instructors are snowmobilers and like to ride on weekends when the ground is snow-covered.
