Snowmobile safety is always a “top of mind awareness” issue with the snowmobile community. Most organizations hold snowmobile safety training programs throughout the year and all of them encourage responsible riding behavior.

Most classes are held in the fall. Be sure to keep an eye on this page as classes are scheduled over the summer. We will post information as soon as clubs notify us of their scheduled classes.

2026 – 2027 MASTER SAFETY CLASS LIST!

Clinton County

Region – 10

Date – Saturday, January 9, 2027***
Time – 8:30am – 3pm

Location – Hyner Mountain Snowmobile Club Lodge, 112 Reeders Addition Lane, Lock Haven, PA (the driveway back to the lodge is located directly across Route 44 from Pat Reeders Tavern)

Parents must accompany their children to registration so that the required DCNR forms may be completed. Adults are encouraged to participate. The class is free and lunch is provided.

For those traveling to attend this safety class, lodging at the club is available. Those parents and students staying at the lodge should bring their own bedding - A sleeping bag and a pillow are recommended.

***If there is rideable snow on the 1/9/27 class date, adults are invited to bring snowmobiles and riding gear for themselves and their youth students so that the Optional Performance Test can be administered to the youth students.

Crawford, Erie, Warren Counties

Region 1 Snowmobile Clubs (Pymatuning, State Line, Triangle S, McKean, PISC, Wales, Tri-County, and Warren) are holding a snowmobile safety class.
