Grooming/Joint Use Roads: Forbes State Forest, District 4, encompasses 34.5 miles of joint use roads. This season DCNR advises that within the Forest, Somerset County Snowmobile trail, 1.25 miles of Hickory Flats Road and .5 miles of Beam Road temporarily closed due to logging operation. Riders must follow detour signs.

Location: The Laurel Highlands North Division Snowmobile Trail is located within Forbes State Forest located in Somerset & Westmoreland Counties – South West Pennsylvania. The Forest makes up part of the Laurel Highlands Region.
