Signs

Made possible by grants from DCNR, PSSA has instituted three phases in placing navigational intersection signs on first-sign-installation-nov-2010trails to upgrade safety and mapping.  Look for the orange diamond intersection sign on trails in these counties and match the code to the snowmobile trail map to find your location.

Phase One included Potter, Erie and Somerset Counties. Phase Two of this project is almost complete and signs will be posted in Crawford, Warren, Forest, Clarion, McKean, Elk and Tioga Counies.

Phase III encompass the Pennsylvania counties of Bradford, Cameron, Clarion, Clearfield, Elk, Forest, Jefferson, Lackawanna, McKean, Pike, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Wayne and Wyoming.

Proper Use of Signs:
For information on signs and placement, be sure to review the Sign Guidelines developed by the International Association of Snowmobile Administrators.
