Moving Forward April 2018

Happy Easter!

Erie needs about 7 inches of snow to surpass all annual snowfall records.  People are tired of snow but want to break the record!

Thank you to all those who submitted nominations for Awards, Executive Board Nominations and Regional Director Nominations  Charles Walter, current Secretary, and Terry Wood, President of the Forest County Club have placed their names in nominations for the two open Executive Board positions..

Recently the Board voted to continue the PowerSport Show this year.   The Committee comprised of Travis Mathna, Arlene LaTourette, Chick Walters and Kathy Woolever will begin work on a budget for this event.  Specific information will be made available as soon as dates etc. are determined.  The Committee is looking for a Promoter for the Show.

The Annual Membership Meeting will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 9am at the Ramada Golf and Conference Center.  This is the same place as last year.

Carol Mosier and Sheila East volunteered to Co-Chair the Auction.  We need everyone to bring a planter, gift card, basket or other items.  This Auction helps defray the cost of the meeting and awards.

The Membership meeting will have an Open Forum for “Members Only” this year.   If you cannot attend or want your ideas or comments presented by someone else you may send your comments, suggestions, concerns, and ideas to James Wolfe, Vice-President.   We will discuss ideas to move the Association forward.  Several topics already mentioned include the following:  Annual Dues, Registration Fee, PSSA Financials and Frequently Asked Questions.  Hope to see you there.

Liz Krug, President

Think Snow (for next winter)

Mark your Calendar:  Membership Meeting – May 5, 2018 – Ramada Conference and Golf Hotel- University Park (same as this year)
