Moving Forward January 2018

Happy New Year!

Snow is falling in the West.  Let’s hope this continues throughout the snowmobile season and throughout the snowmobile areas.

Safety is our number one priority.  Stay on the trails and obey all laws.

Although PSSA announces the opening of trails you should always check with the forest, park or clubs where you intend to ride.  Our website (pasnow.org) contains links to most areas of the state.  The map tab contains information on all the clubs throughout the state.   Click on a region and the club information will be there.  Snocams also show the conditions of the area.

Ride safe.

PSSA is making plans to host several groomer training classes for members next year.   The last training classes were held several years ago.  Grooming trails is a science and depends on conditions not just the amount of snow on the trails.  Thank the groomers who donate their time to groom late at night and early in the morning.

Don’t forget to make a few simple New Year’s goals.  Remember to volunteer.  Join a club and help keep the trails safe.

Many blessings for a safe and happy Holiday.

Think Snow!  (Let’s do a SNOW dance!)
