Moving Forward October 2020

The coming of fall reminds me that winter is close behind.  It is time to check your snowmobile and equipment if you haven’t done so already.  Safety is the priority.

Clubs have been busy checking and working on trails.  Without these volunteers we would not have many miles of trail to ride on.  Thank them when you see them.

The snowmobile season has a variety of starting dates.  Please check with the clubs where you ride/DCNR before you go.  I understand NY may be forced to change their starting date in many places.  Check their website for up to date information.

Please return your raffle tickets as soon as possible.  The prizes of a large Blizzard trailer and an ATV have been donated by Blizzard Trailers and the BRP dealers.  Patronize their business.

PSSA has received donations from several individuals.  Thank you.

PSSA is in need of member input.  A Committee has been working on a survey for several months.  The data collected will be used to improve PSSA operations etc.  Members will receive a survey in the near future.  Please return it as soon as possible.

We are all anxious to ride.  Let’s do it in a safe manner.  Follow all local, state and federal regulations.

The Mini-grant Review Committee will be meeting this week to review club applications.  DCNR will then review Committee recommendations.  Finally PSSA Board/Executive Board will vote on each application.  Clubs that receive approval will then receive a check to help pay for work on the trails.    Thank you for your spirit of volunteerism.

BE SAFE!
