Happy Autumn! Take time to enjoy nature and see lots of gorgeous leaves in Pennsylvania!
Tune in to Destination America Channel at 8am on October 1 and 8 and explore the snow trails in the counties of Somerset, McKean, Forest, Elk, Cameron and the Allegheny National Forest. Please use it to spread the work of all our clubs, sponsors, PSSA, American Council of Snowmobile Associations (ACSA) and the International Snowmobile Association (ISMA). Without their help both financially and in the generosity of their time this would not be possible.
Year Two planning of the Snow Trails video project is almost complete.
Year Two will feature the Poconos and Huntingdon County plus Erie County and the PA Wilds. We are in need of sponsors from the PA Wilds Benezette/Clearfield/ St. Marys area. One may have the good fortune to see an Elk during a snowmobile ride in these areas! Any business, tourism bureau or person can help sponsor an area. This is a great opportunity for your trails to be given national attention thru this TV show. The Snow Trails TV program is currently changing to Sunday morning at 8am. Contact Lori Elliott, Grant Administrator for further information. (717-236-2050 ext 127 or email@example.com )

Tickets for chances on the two trailers donated by Blizzard and an ATV donated by the dealers should be returned promptly. Please be generous. All proceeds are used to support PSSA programs.
At the time of this article the Pennsylvania Senate is considering HB 453 which will allow them to transfer monies from savings accounts of various funds. These funds are aimed at helping balance the budget. This may have wide implications for the availability of funds for rec trails. Clubs need funds to help maintain and groom trails. Clubs are limited in the number of raffles they support and sub sales they promote.
This combination of money transfers and the overall increase in costs plus fewer volunteers is the perfect storm. We need to get serious and move to increase the registration fee.
I hope to see you at the PowerSport Show.
Think Snow! (Lets do a SNOW dance!)
